Q: Can I Buy or Sell Surplus inventory without Registering?
No, however registering with e-SupplyChains.com is FREE and registering simply provides us with the necessary information to be able to process your request. We do not and will never sell your information.

Q: How can I bid on inventory that is posted on the e-SupplyChains.com site? Are there any fees or costs to me?
Bidding on inventory posted is easy and there is no cost to you. After you identify product you wish to purchase, simply click on the "Submit e-Bid" button. An email bid will be sent to the holder of the inventory. The inventory holder will reply to you via email usually within 12 to 24 hours either accepting your e-Bid or countering your e-Bid. After your e-Bid is accepted, you can purchase the inventory with a Credit Card or on open account through e-SupplyChains.com if your credit terms have already been established.

Q: If I need to purchase inventory ASAP, can I buy it right now?
Yes. All inventory posted has a "Target Price" identified. Submitting an e-Bid at the target price will initiate the material purchasing process. You will be able to purchase the inventory with a Credit Card or on open account through e-SupplyChains.com if your credit terms have already been established.

Q: How can I get my Company's profile posted on the e-SupplyChains.com website? What does it cost?
To have your company profile posted, either click on the button "Market your Business" in the left rail of the Login page or click on "Contact Us" and request to have a Sales Specialist contact you. The Sales Specialist will work with you to get the necessary information compiled to complete your profile and get your business posted right away. There is a one- time set-up fee required and a small fixed monthly fee for each Company profile posted. One of our Sales Specialist will work with you to facilitate the process.

Q: How can I post my Surplus or excess inventory on the e-SupplyChains.com site?
To have your surplus or excess inventory posted you must be registered. After registering FREE, you will be able to click on the "Sell Surplus Inventory" tab on the home page or you can click on the "Sell Surplus Inventory" button in the left rail of the Sign In page, Dashboard page or Material Services page. You will be able to upload a file and submit for posting. This file can be text, Excel or CSV. Since all suppliers format their inventory fields differently, we do not specify a particular layout, however, we do require that the Manufacturers Name, Manufacturer’s part number, Quantity on Hand, and Target Cost be provided. A product description (if available) is very useful and helps product to sell much faster. One of our Sales Specialist will contact you to verify that your product is in "sellable condition".

Q: How can I get my Company presented on one of the banner ads that rotate through the site?
There are numerous banner ad locations throughout the site. Posted banner ads will randomly shuffle location regularly. Each new member will have a banner ad presented when they join the network for a limited time. Additional Banner ad spots can be purchased on a month by month basis. Please click Contact Us to have one of our Sales Specialists provide you with our 2011 rate information.

Q: Do I ship my surplus inventory or excess inventory to e-SupplyChains.com when I get it posted on the site?
No. All material sold through e-SupplyChains.com is on a consignment basis. When inventory is posted, a no cost Purchase Order will be sent to the material supplier to allocate the inventory to e-SupplyChains.com. When a Customer wishes to buy the inventory posted, they process a Purchase Order or Credit Card order through our site. At that time, a Change Order is forwarded to the material supplier noting the accepted price and the Customers Name and ship to location. An e-SupplyChains.com link to print an e-PackSlip will also be sent to enable the supplier of the material to ship the product and creates an invoice for payment.

Q: What does it cost to post Inventory? Does it matter how many items I post or how much each item costs?
e-SupplyChains.com members can post and sell an UNLIMITED amount of surplus / excess inventory at no additional cost. Companies that wish to post excess inventory or surplus stock that do not wish to post a company profile can do so either on consignment or by paying a small fixed monthly fee. To post inventory, the user must first register. Registered users are able to upload inventory through their Dashboard page for sale on consignment. All inventory sold on consignment is subject to a consignment fee that is a percentage of the net invoice price that is subtracted from the payment made to the supplier.

Q: Are there any extra costs or fees when I purchase surplus inventory thru e-SupplyChains.com?
No. The purchaser has no fee to register or purchase surplus stock / excess inventory. The purchaser’s only responsibility is to pay the cost of the product plus freight.

Q: When I send an e-RFQ to a manufacturer through your site, how do they get it? Does it cost anything?
There is no cost to send an e-RFQ to any manufacturer posted on e-SupplyChains.com. Each e-RFQ that gets completed is sent via email directly to the Manufacturer. The Manufacturer will access your e-RFQ via our patented e-Link process and respond directly to you via email with a formal quotation.

Q: How do I establish credit terms with e-SupplyChains.com? Will e-SupplyChains.com accept credit cards?
During the registration process, you will be asked it you wish to establish credit terms. By clicking yes, you will be able to upload your standard credit reference information or complete our credit application. Traditional response time for establishing credit terms is 48 – 72 hours or two to three business days.

Q: Once I establish credit terms with e-SupplyChains.com can I purchase any inventory or product on open account?
Yes. Once credit terms with e-SupplyChains.com are established, you will be able to purchase any inventory posted on our site or products / services from any of our posted Manufacturing members.

Q: How do I get quotes for Material Services? Where are the Services provided from?
To get a quote for any Material Service offered through e-SupplyChains.com, simply click on the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the service offering page or click on the "Contact Us" tab on the home page. Please note in the message box the type of service you are interested in and upload any supporting file or document. A Sales Specialist in your region will contact you to provide a quotation and will perform the service(s) required in your region. To get additional information on our regions and locations, please use the left rail buttons on the Contact Us page.

Q: Is there a warranty for the product I buy through e-SupplyChains.com?
Yes. The seller warrants the product for 30 days after shipment. If the product received is not per the manufacturer’s specification, simply return it to the seller for full credit. Our sellers do not get paid for product shipped until after the warranty period expires.
